Question

can you convert iPhoto slideshow to iPhotoAlbum?

Created a slide show and now I need to access the photos for other purposes --Either need some way to get the photos into an album or someplace where I can see the file names so I can use them in another application.

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10), inactivated Apple ID

Which version of MacOS X 10 do you have? If you have updated to MacOS X 10.10.4 try the following:

Open your slideshow and select all photos in the film strip with ⌘A
Then use the command "File > New Album ⌘N"

This will create an album with all photos of the slideshow included.
